Colleen Quinn Fink was announced as the head coach of Haverford College field hockey in the summer of 2006. Fink, a native of Merion, Pa., previously attended and coached at Saint Joseph’s University where she was a four-year letterwinner at the midfield position from 1996-99 and captained the team as a senior prior to spending two seasons as an assistant coach at her alma mater.

In her three seasons at the helm, Fink has helped the Fords climb in the conference standings from 2006 to 2008 and last season led the program to their first .500 record or better since the program's 1991 campaign. Haverford has also beaten archrival Swarthmore in each of her three seasons. Fink has drastically improved the non-conference schedule and in 2008 battled five teams that earned spots in the 24-team NCAA championship field.

As an assistant coach for the Hawks, Fink worked under long time Saint Joseph’s head coach Michelle Finegan to help put together back-to-back seasons of double-digit victories for the first time in 10 years. One of many highlights Fink shared occurred in 2005 when Saint Joseph’s notched a victory over a nationally ranked opponent for the first time since 1998 with a 2-1 decision over then 19th ranked University of Delaware. Fink also helped guide the Hawks to their fourth and fifth consecutive Atlantic-10 Conference postseason tournament appearances.

Previously, Fink coached field hockey at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pa. She led Carroll to a pair of Philadelphia Catholic League titles in 2001 and 2003, and reached the league’s title game in each of her three seasons as head coach. Fink serves as manager and coach of the Vipers club team. The Vipers won the U19 pool at the national festival and her team qualified for the national indoor tournament. Fink coaches the Keystone State games and works various summer camps in the area.

Fink is also the creator of CQ Sports, which operates the Field Hockey College Quest. College Quest is a one-day tournament for high school players to showcase their ability in front of college coaches. This long standing event is highly recognizable and respected amongst high school and college players and coaches.

The third-year head coach is an active member of the U.S. Field Hockey and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFCA). Fink is also involved in Olympic development as the futures site director and national futures tournament selector and coach.

In addition to her coaching duties, Fink is also the head monitor for Haverford’s Gardner Integrated Athletic Center and the outdoor facilities manager and scheduler.

Fink is assisted by Katelyn O’Brien, Angela Hanna and Jen Rauscher. O’Brien played for Fink at both Archbishop Carroll and Saint Joseph’s. She was a 2005 Mid-Atlantic Regional All-American and first-team All-Atlantic 10. Hanna was formerly the head coach at Rosemont College from 2005-06. She also played at Saint Joseph’s where she was the teams defensive player of the year her junior and senior seasons. Rausher was a four-year letterwinner at La Salle University. Along with O'Brien, she played for Fink at Archbishop Carroll.
