11/07/09 – The Fords had made it into their first conference tournament semifinal but that was as far as they would go as top seed and nationally-ranked Ursinus put an end to the Haverford run. -
11/04/09 – There were no first-time jitters Wednesday night as the Fords, making their first ever Centennial playoff appearance, earned a hard-fought victory to move onto the semifinals Saturday morning. -
11/03/09 - Men’s cross country had nine members make the list which is the most from any team in the conference. -
10/31/09 - Deadlocked at 2-2, after the Green Terror tied the score in the 66th minute, Mary Hobbs scored in the 69th minute to send Haverford to the conference playoffs. -
10/28/09 – Bridget Gibbons scored twice before most fans were in their seats to stake Haverford to an early lead they wouldn't surrender against visiting Swarthmore.

Former Argentina Olympian ('92, '96) Pablo Lombi (back row, center) took some time off from his duties as his country's Under-21 Men's national team coach to be the guest coach with Colleen Quinn's Haverford squad throughout their week of preseason training in Buenos Aires this past August.

- Swan Field allows the field hockey team to compete in a state-of-the-art lighted facility with a FieldTurf surface, the choice of many professional and collegiate teams.
- The team's offense in 2008 was among the best in the conference in goals per game and set the school record with 116 points (44G, 28A) for the season.
