12/15/09 - Fran Rizzo’s squad finished third at the Centennial Conference Championship Meet, giving the Fords their ninth consecutive top-three finish and 15th overall under his direction. -
11/21/09 – Haverford's Emily Lipman led the Fords to a 30th place finish at the national championship meet, earning All-American status along the way. -
11/16/09 – What was strongly hinted at after Saturday's Mideast Regional results became reality with at-large bids to the NCAA national meet for the both the men's and women's cross country teams. -
11/14/09 – Emily Lipman fell just shy of capturing the NCAA Mideast Regional title but her second place finish will still send the sophomore on to the national meet where her team may be competing as well. -
11/03/09 - After finishing first at the Centennial Conference Championship meet last Saturday, Emily Lipman was named Runner of the Week.

Why Run Women's Cross Country at Haverford?
- During his 20 years as head coach, Fran Rizzo has guided the Fords to 12 Centennial Conference titles in cross country and track & field.
- Women's cross country has had 12 All-Americans in 23 years as a varsity sport.
- During Rizzo's tenure, the Fords have qualified for the Division III cross country championship 11 times, finishing as high as 10th.
