Peterson, Selsor & Tcheyan Named Men's Lacrosse All-Americans
Haverford College senior goalie K.C. Peterson, senior defender
Steve Selsor and senior attack Max Tcheyan were awarded All-America
status at the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association
All-America Brunch held Sunday at the Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore,
MD. All three Haverford players earned honorable mention recognition.
Peterson, Selsor, and Tcheyan are the third, fourth, and fifth
all-Americans in the history of the Haverford lacrosse program.
"We are very proud of K.C., Steve, and Max and what they
have accomplished in their careers here." said head coach
Mike Murphy. "The class of 2007 has made a very positive
impact on our program and we appreciate their efforts, their performance,

Tcheyan & Selsor Chosen to Play in North-South Senior All-Star
Game
Haverford attack Max Tcheyan and defenseman Steve Selsor
have been selected to play in the United States Intercollegiate
Lacrosse Association Division III North-South Senior All-Star
Game this Friday at Calvert Hall in Baltimore, MD. Both players

Granoff, Peterson & Thorne-Fitzgerald Named Academic All-Area
Haverford junior midfielder Dean Granoff, senior goalie
K.C. Peterson and junior midfielder Matt Thorne-Fitzgerald have
been named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area
Men's Lacrosse Team. The Academic All-Area Men's Lacrosse Team
was voted by the sports information offices of the 28 area institutions
from the Philadelphia metropolitan area, and consists of ten men's
lacrosse student-athletes. more...

Bullets Clip Haverford, 12-11 in Centennial Semifinal Shootout
Second-ranked and top-seeded host Gettysburg edged out fourth-seeded
Haverford in a 12-11 shootout Friday afternoon in a Centennial
Conference semifinal game. Haverford junior midfielder Shane Hafer
paced the Haverford offense with three goals on the afternoon,
while senior First Team All-Centennial selection Max Tcheyan contributed
two goals and a game-high three assists in the losing effort.
Haverford finishes its 2007 campaign with a 8-6 overall record,
while Gettysburg improves to 13-2 and will face the winner of
the second-seeded Dickinson and third-seeded Washington College
game on Sunday in the tournament championship game. more...

Six Men's Lacrosse Players Named All-Centennial
Haverford senior attack Max Tcheyan and senior defender
Steve Selsor have been named First Team All-Centennial, while
junior attack Mike Distler, junior midfielder Dean Granoff, junior
defender Joel Censer and senior goalkeeper K.C. Peterson have
been tabbed Second Team All-Centennial in a in a vote conducted

Big Second Period Spurs Haverford Past Swarthmore, 11-6
Haverford broke open a scoreless game with
five second-period goals and held Swarthmore scoreless for the
first 32:02 of play on their way to an 11-6 win on a cloudy Saturday
afternoon. Freshman attack Alex Guy led the Haverford attack with
three tallies. The win guarantees that the Hood trophy will remain
at Haverford for the ninth straight year. Haverford currently
holds a 9 1/2 to 6 1/2 point lead over Swarthmore with men's and
women's outdoor track & field remaining this season. more...
