#15 - Katsura Tree (Cercidiphyllum japonicum)

The Katsura bears green heart-shaped leaves in early spring, interesting little banana-like fruits appear in summer; and in fall the changing leaves contribute a beautiful lemon yellow to the landscape and release a sweet odor reminiscent of cotton candy.
