Arboretum: Virtual Tour

This tour highlights 36 special trees centered around campus buildings on the college's 200-acre arboretum. If you were to visit campus, this self-guided walking tour would take an hour or so. Along the entire route are benches where you could rest and contemplate the special beauty of Haverford College Arboretum with its rolling lawns, sweeping vistas, and placement of trees in artfully naturalistic ways. The original planting plan dates to 1834; many of Haverford's trees are historic or uncommon in today’s landscape.
