The anthropology major studied abroad in Buenos Aries, Argentina, where she had a wonderful time enjoying the cultural attractions of the city and took courses at the local university.

Vanessa Douglas, an anthropology major, spent the fall 2010 semester in Madrid through IES Madrid, where she was able to practice her Spanish language skills while taking engaging classes. She also explored the beautiful city with guided tours and on her own.

October 27, 4:30pm, Sharpless Auditorium: This groundbreaking film follows the rise of Vision in Progress, a hip hop group from the tough streets of Accra's predominantly Muslim Nima ghetto to global stages around the world. The film is followed by a Q&A session with the film Director Eli Jacobs-Fantauzzi.
