Volunteering: Key Committees: Annual Fund Executive Committee
The Annual Fund Executive Committee meets periodically through the fiscal year, either in person or via teleconference, to provide consultative advice to the Director of Annual Giving and the Annual Giving Staff. They serve as additional solicitors for others in their peer groups on an ad hoc basis. The Committee participates in volunteer training for class chairs and serves as liaison to regional Annual Giving organizational meetings.
The AFEC chair serves a two-year term and is an ex officio representative to the Alumni Association Executive Committee. The chair is the leading Annual Giving alumni volunteer and serves as the nominal signatory on periodic notices, high-end Annual Giving acknowledgment letters and letters in recognition of service by other volunteers. The chair is expected to represent Annual Giving to the Board of Managers Advancement Committee and the Campaign Executive Committee as appropriate.
