Crafting the Kannerstein Award
The Alumni Achievement Awards ceremony held during Haverford's Alumni Weekend in May featured a new prize honoring the late Greg Kannerstein '63. The Kannerstein Award (formerly The Alumni Award), which recognizes an individual who, like Greg, has provided sustained service to the College, went to David L. Thomas '71.

Each year, the Haverford recognizes outstanding alumni who have provided sustained support to the College in a variety of areas. These awards are presented at a special convocation during Alumni Weekend.
Our volunteers give back to the College so much during the year—the Alumni Awards are just one of the ways in which we publicly acknowledge our alumni for all they do for us.
