Structure of the AAEC
The Committee consists of the officers of the Alumni Association, up to fifteen at-large members, nine regional coordinators, the immediate Past President of the Association, the Chair of Annual Giving and two student representatives. The officers are the President and the Vice President who each serve two-year terms. The Secretary of the Association is the Director of Alumni Relations of the College. The at-large members and the regional coordinators are elected once each year, serving for a three year term. All members, except the officers, may serve no more than two consecutive terms. These Committee members represent the diversity of the College with respect to graduating class, gender, race and geographic distribution.
At large members serve in liaison positions which include various College departments such as: Admissions, Alumni Weekend, Athletics, Multicultural Affairs, Technology Issues, Awards, Communications, Career Development, LAMBDA and Scarlet Sages.
Regional coordinators represent New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Boston, Seattle, and At-Large. The AAEC works with Regional Coordinators to develop new and engaging events worldwide.
