How do I access the alumni portal?
fords.haverford.edu is the alumni site where you can view upcoming events, search the alumni database, submit a note, and find information. Those previously registered for fords.haverford.edu do not need to re-register. Just click on "Login" to access the site, retrieve your username, or reset your password. If you need to register, follow the "First Visit" link.
How do I set up or change my @alum.haverford.edu email forwarding account?
You must first login to fords.haverford.edu. Then click on "My account" choose the "Alumni Email" tab. This page will ask you to enter your personal email address (ie. gmail, yahoo, business address, etc.) as well as let you choose your "name" for the forwarding account (ie. jdoe@alum.haverford.edu).
You can even choose to keep your real email address private and only show the @alum.haverford.edu address to other community members by using the "Custom Forwarding Address" option at the bottom of the page.
How do I join the Alumni List Serve?
Go to the list page and enter your information in the "Subscribing to Hc-alum" section. You'll receive a confirmation email to the address that you provided.
Follow the instructions in the email in order to subscribe to the list. You'll then receive a welcome message confirming your subscription.
This email will contain the information about how to post to the hc-alum
listserv by sending email to hc-alum@list.haverford.edu.
How can I get involved as an alum?
There are volunteer opportunities both for reunion classes (planning typically starts 14 months out) and in regions throughout the world. If you are interested in planning an event, or getting more information on what it means to get involved, please contact the Alumni Relations & Annual Giving office at alumni@haverford.edu. Tell us a little bit about how you would like to volunteer for Haverford, and we will work to connect you with other volunteers!
Who are my alumni representatives?
The Alumni Association Executive Committee (AAEC) is the executive arm of the Alumni Association. A list of members and their contact information can be found here.
I want to reconnect with my old roommate/friend/classmate. How can I do that?
The Alumni Relations & Annual Giving office is able to share information within the Haverford community. If you are trying to track down a fellow Haverfordian, please feel free to either call our office (610-896-1004) or email us (alumni@haverford.edu), and we will provide you with the current contact information. You can also search the alumni database at fords.haverford.edu.
I just moved. How can I change my address?
All updated contact information can be sent to records@haverford.edu or updated on fords.haverford.edu under "My Account". You must be logged in to the site to access this section of your account.
I know a Haverfordian who does wonderful things and is deserving of an Alumni Award. How can I submit his or her name?
All information on Alumni Awards can be found here . Typically awards are given out twice a year.
I need a copy of my transcript. How can I do that?
Transcripts are handled by the Registrar’s Office, and all information on ordering them can be found on their webpage.
