Tours & Class Visits

A student leads a group tour across campus.

Jacob Lowy '14 shows a tour group around campus. All tours are led by student volunteers.

Student-Guided Campus Tour

No appointment necessary. Tours leave from the Office of Admission in the Whitehead Campus Center. You'll have a smaller tour group if you can avoid our busiest months, April, August and October.

Info Session

No appointment necessary. An overview of the College as well as the Admission process by a Haverford College Admission Officer. Student Volunteers are available to talk with you before the Info Sessions, so it’s a good idea to arrive a few minutes early.

Self-Guided Tour

You and your family are welcome to explore on your own schedule. Our campus is open, and you can pick up a map and self-guided tour brochure at the Admissions Office.

Class Visits

No appointment necessary. Class visits are available weekdays from late September through April when the college is in session. Upon your arrival, you may select a class from a list available at our reception desk.

When visiting a class, please let the professor know at the beginning of class that you are a visiting prospective student, and please plan to stay for the full duration of the class.

Group Tours

We invite your high school or community group to schedule a campus visit Monday through Friday. We ask that all groups contact the Admission Office so that we can accommodate your needs. Groups of 10 or fewer may be assigned to a pre-scheduled tour. Larger parties will be offered a private tour. Visits may include an information session. If preferred, a Q&A session may be substituted for the information session. Please note group tour availability is limited in December, January and May due to our students' academic schedules.

To schedule a group tour, contact Carly Valenzuela (cvalenzuel@haverford.edu) or call the Admission Office at (610) 896-1350.
