  • For Alumni Volunteers

Admission Volunteers are the alumni and parent representatives of the Admission Office. You know the value of a Haverford College experience and can share your personal stories with young adults and parents who are eager to find the right college fit.

    Volunteer responsibilities include:
    • Attending college fairs and college nights at schools and community centers near your home. (See "College Night & College Fair Guide" in the Volunteer Handbook).
    • Interviewing prospective students in your local area. (See "Interview Guide" in the Volunteer Handbook).
    • Calling or e-mailing admitted students in April.
    • Participating in occasional volunteer training events on campus and in your local area.
We will be organizing local information and training events on campus and in various regions throughout the year to support your efforts to recruit students.
    • Maintaining up-to-date contact information with the College. Maintaining accurate contact information is essential. Your name, email address, and telephone number may be provided to prospective students for scheduling interviews in your local area.
