Subject: Internet Service Interruption Friday, August 21st at 11:59 PM

On Friday August 21st, there will be campus wide network maintenance from 11:59 PM on Friday. August 21st to 2:00 AM on Saturday, August 22nd. During the maintenance period, there will be a 15 to 30 minute period during which the campus network will be isolated from the Internet.

During this brief service interruption, computers on campus will not have access to external network resources and external users will not be able to reach college resources, including our web site. VPN service for off-campus users will also be unavailable while we perform maintenance. Users will also not be able to send and receive email messages via college mail servers. Squirrelmail (web based email access) will be unavailable as well. No mail will be lost during the maintenance period. Any mail received during this period will be queued and delivered when the mail service is restored.
