Network Maintenance in KINSC -- Thursday Jan 17th, 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM

The message below was originally sent to all Haverford faculty and staff on Tuesday, January 15th at approximately 5:00 PM.

Subject: INSC East, Sci Lib & Hilles Network Service Interruption Thurs 7:30 AM

On Thursday, January 17th from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, INSC East, Science Library, and Hilles will have several short interruptions in network service while we replace fan modules in building networking hardware. Each location or jack should only experience a single outage lasting approximately 10 minutes. INSC Link, Sharpless, and other campus buildings will not be affected.

During the service interruption, computers and network devices in INSC East, Science Library, and Hilles will be isolated from the campus network; users will be unable to access email, network resources such as Storage.haverford.edu, network connected printers, and the Internet. Wireless service in these spaces will also be briefly interrupted.

You need not take any action or shut down your computer as a result of the maintenance. If for any reason you experience a problem, please restart your computer or contact your support liaisons:
