The message below was originally sent to all Haverford faculty and Staff on Wednesday, January 9th at approximately 12:45 PM.

Subject: Storage Maintenance Tonight (1/9) 5 PM - (1/10) 10 AM
Impact Summary: Storage Server "departments", "dropboxes", "copiers", and "user folders A through C" will be read-only

While performing yesterday's scheduled Storage Server maintenance, we discovered the need to perform additional preventative maintenance which we are electing to do this evening (1/9/2008) from 5:00 PM to Thursday (1/10/2008) at 10:00 AM. During this maintenance period, access to departments, dropboxes, copiers, and user folders A through C will be read-only. In the case of the copiers folder, this means that college Xerox machines will be unable scan documents to the Storage Server. The Xerox scan to email feature, however, will not be affected. Other folders on the Storage Server will not be impacted by the maintenance. Administrative users accessing the file server Adminnt, will be unaffected by this maintenance.

We are scheduling this this maintenance on short notice to avoid interruptions in the week before classes resume. Thanks for your understanding.
