Microsoft's Web Page about the Pop-Up Blocker

Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed an Internet Explorer Pop-Up Blocker. Some pop-up menus are harmful to your computer. However, other pop-up menus are necessary for your work. The Pop-Up blocker will prevent all pop-ups from opening on your computer, even ones that are necessary on the Haverford website.

You may disable the pop-up blocker, or just enable certain desired sites.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on Tools, mouse over Pop-up Blocker and select your desired settings.

NOTE: You can temporarily allow a site to display pop-ups. Click the yellow Information Bar when it notifies you that a pop-up has been blocked. Then click Temporarily Allow Pop-ups.
