Address Book

An address book stores Names, Phone Numbers, Email Addresses and other information in a sequential order. You may then search, add, remove or edit your records.

You can open the address book by clicking on Tools and then Address Book ( Ctrl + L ).
[ Window and then Address Book in Mac ]

Adding New Entries

You can either maintain a single address book with all contacts or maintain multiple address books with several entries in each.

Note: One entry may contain multiple email addresses. For example, the 'Housing Committee' may have a number of people on it.

To add a contact to the default Eudora Nicknames book, click on New.
[ You can also make a new address book entry by clicking on Special and then Make Address Book Entry.]
Enter the required information such as Nickname, Full Name, Email Address (es).

You may even create a new address book by clicking on the New Book option and then specifying a name for the new book. Contacts can be added to the new book in the same way as listed above.

To delete entries from the Address Book, simply click on the contact and press the Del key on the keyboard.

Using the Address Book

You can select how you want the contacts in your address book to be listed. They can be listed based on a number of things such as Nickname, full name, email address etc. Click on the drop down box for View By and then select the desired choice.

If you want to send an email to a contact in your address book, you may do so by selecting the person who you want to send the email to, and then by clicking on To:, Cc:, Bcc: accordingly.
