Haverford has a variety of computing servers, each with it's own function. This page provides an overview of servers, their function, and how to access them. More detailed information and instructions are available for most of these servers.
Student and Student Group Web Pages (students.haverford.edu)Students can publish personal web sites or web sites for student groups on the Storage server. Use your email username and password to login.
College Web Pages on webpublish.haverford.edu (www.haverford.edu)Faculty and Academic staff can post to their departmental web sites on the College Web Server. Additional posting access may be granted to faculty and staff upon request. For details on policies and procedures, see the Creating and Publishing Faculty Web Pages. College Web Pages--Restricted Access (www.haverford.edu:8080)Most web pages are open to anyone on the web, but pages on the College web server can be restricted by location or password. Web files in this space are restricted to those on the campus or tri-college network. Use your email username and password to login.
The Storage ServerThe Storage Server provides secure personal storage for anyone with a Haverford email account, as well as departmental storage for academic departments. Streaming Media Files(for authorized Faculty and Staff Only) The College hosts a RealPlayer Streaming media server, for those who need to stream large audio or video files. Access to this space may be granted upon request: talk with your computing support liaison. Use your email username and password to login.
