New Security Certificate installed on Haverford Email ServerTo: All Haverford Community Members On Friday, August 14, Networking and Systems installed a new security certificate on Haverford's IMAP mail server. Since then, some users have reported getting a message about accepting a certificate when checking their email. If you are getting such a message, you can check the option to “accept this certificate permanently.” (Note: Below is a screen shot from Thunderbird running on Vista. Other configurations may result in a slightly different version of this window.) After that, you may get another window stating that “Mail server imap.haverford.edu is not an IMAP4 mail server.” Click OK.
