Courses: Introduction to Personality Psychology (PSYCH215A01)

An examination of the fundamental issues and questions addressed by personality psychology, including: What is personality? What are its underlying processes and mechanisms? How does personality develop and change over time? What constitutes a healthy personality? This course will explore these questions by considering evidence from several major approaches to personality (trait, psychodynamic, humanistic, and social-cognitive), and it will encourage students to develop a dynamic understanding of human personality that is situated within biological, social, and cultural contexts. Lottery preference to Psyc Sr Majors first, then Jr Majors then Minors in that order, and then by Class, Srs first, etc. Lottery preference to Psyc Majors, Minors, and then by Class.
