Courses: Introduction to Probability and Statistics (STATH103B01)
Spring 2014
Basic concepts and methods of elementary probability and quantitative reasoning, with practical applications. Topics include: sample average and standard deviation, normal curves, regression, expected value and standard error, confidence intervals and hypothesis tests. Math 103 not open to students who have taken Math 114 or higher, or who have placemnt at level Math 115 or higher, except with permission
Prerequisites: Lottery preference to those with Math placement at the level of Math 114 or lower.
