Courses: Topics in Medieval and Early Modern Literature: Love and Death (ENGLH345B01)
An exploration of the "love-death nexus" in Medieval and Renaissance literature. The course will employ a wide variety of literary texts (prose, poetry, and drama) to explore the enmeshed themes of love and death. Readings from Chaucer, Shakespeare, Jacobean and Restoration drama.
Prerequisites: 2 200-level English courses or permission.
