Courses: Experimental Studio: Photography (ARTSH351B01)
Spring 2014
Students produce an extended sequence of their work in either book (ARTSH351A) or exhibition (ARTSH351B) format using black and white or color photographic materials. The sequence and scale of the photographic prints are determined by the nature of the student's work. Weekly classroom critiques, supplemented by an extensive investigation of classic photographic picture books and related critical texts guide students to the completion of their course work. This two semester course consists of the book project first semester (351A) and the exhibition project second semester (351B). At the end of each semester the student may exhibit his/her project.
