A course for students who have achieved a basic knowledge of Spanish but have limited experience and/or confidence communicating in the language. Students will improve their conversational and writing skills while learning about the 'realities' of Spanish-speaking countries.The course meets for five hours a week: three hours (3) with the instructor and two (2) hours in mandatory tutorial sections.
Prerequisites: Access only through placement exam.
