Enrollment criteria: At least one course in political theory or philosophy or consent of instructor.; Current Topic Description: This course explores the question of the role of aggression within political and social life. Among the topics that we will take up are: What is aggression? What is the relationship of aggression to violence? To what extent is aggression a threat to political and social life, and is there a danger also of too little aggression in political and social life?
