Using various art-historical approaches, this course focus on the works of major Post-Impressionist artists: Seurat, Cezanne, Van Gogh, and Gauguin. This course will include a field trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the course fulfills a requirement in the History of Art Major at Bryn Mawr College.
