This course will investigate the biological, chemical, and astrophysical factors believed to be necessary for extraterrestrial life to exist, and perhaps to communicate with us. It also will explore possible homes to such life in both our solar system and the greater Milky Way galaxy. Prerequisites: Completion of QUAN001 course or a satisfactory score on the diagnostic Q-Skills assessment.
