Courses: Experimental Methods and Statistics (PSYCH200A01)

Three hours lecture, one 90-mintue lab/week plus time spent collecting data outside of scheduled lab hours. A general overview of the experimental method and its use in the psychological study of behavior, coupled with in-depth treatment of statistics as applied to psychology research. Lab exercises focus on designing experiments, collecting data, applying statistical methods (using a commercial data analysis software package), and presenting data through written assignments. Lottery preference to Psych Majors, Minors, NBS Concentrators and then by Class.
Prerequisites: One semester of introductory psychology.
