The novel of adultery is traditionally placed within the poetics and traditions of Realism and Naturalism. This course approaches the concept of novel of adultery as a nexus to question the representations of gender, desire, eroticism, morality, and other poetics.

Prerequisites: Span 200-level course or instructor consent.
