Spring 2012

An exploration of various plays produced during the 20th Century in different Latin American countries and the US in the context of major theatrical movements and central themes in Latin American culture and history. The readings will include works by female and male playwrights. When possible, there will be a correlation with films, based on the plays discussed in class.

Prerequisites: SPAN 102, placement, or consent of the instructor.
