Courses: India and Britain: The East India Company, 1600-1857 (HISTH285B01)

Spring 2012

This course is structured around Indian and British histories of the British Empire in India with a special focus upon the East India Company. We will begin with the emergence of the East India Company and ends with the rebellion of 1857, focusing primarily on the last hundred years of this period.

Prerequisites: Sophomore standing or above.
