An exploration of the hybrid genre of narrative and non-narrative writing known as "New Journalism" as exemplified in the works of Truman Capote, Norman Mailer, Gay Talese, Joan Didion, Tom Wolfe, and Michael Herr among others, with a focus on its defining features and its evolution from the 1960s to the present.
