Courses: Ethnographies of Globalization (ANTHH240B01)

Spring 2012

Introduces students to the dynamics of globalization through ethnographic accounts. Topics include colonial encounters, culture and identity in global context, global capitalism, borders and migration, youthscapes, and the circulation of global paradigms such as environmentalism, personhood and citizenship.

Prerequisites: one anthropology or comparable social science course or instructor approval
