We will consider the primary issues for the authors and also the issues that may rather be our own. These include the technical issues of historiographywhat history is and how it achieves its goals; historical causation and relevance; exactness or reliability, bias and viewpoint. We will also attend to social justice, which for us means race, class and gender: what was it for the Greeks?
