Three class hours and one laboratory period. A continuation of Physics 101, covering electricity and magnetism, optics, waves, sound, quantum physics, and nuclear physics. Applications include topics such as nerve conduction, the optics of vision, and radioactivity. One hour recitation required as follows: Tu or W 8:30-9:30 a.m. or M 2:30-3:30 p.m. in

Prerequisites: Physics 101a. In addition calculus at the level of Mathematics 114b or equivalent should be taken prior to or concurrently with this course.
