An examination of aesthetic, social, political, psychological, and historical aspects of the visual representation of war. Media ranging from prints and photographs to sculpture and film from the beginning of the nineteenth century to the present day. Course fulfills a requirement in the History of Art Major at Bryn Mawr as well as an elective in Peace, Justice, Humn Rghts conc at Hav.
