Class Number: 1375 HU
Intensive practice in conversational Spanish. The course seeks to
enhance speaking proficiency through the development of vocabulary,
pronunciation skills, and correct grammatical usage. Course will
include discussion of topical issues in politics, science, literature
and culture. In addition to daily practice in small groups, there will
be formal presentations, debates, and exercises in oral
interpretation. A weekly grammar review will also be included. NOTE:
this course will not count towards the major or minor. Enrollment is
limited to 15 students. Prerequisites: Intermediate Spanish (101 and
102, or 105).
