New Course: This course will focus on recent immigration of Muslims
in Europe. Anthropological theories will be helpful for understanding
various issues such as the colonization and production of ethnicity,
problems of identity concerning different generations and gender.
Politics from the points of view of the nation-state will be
important. Prerequisite: One course in Anthropology or instructors
permission. Cross listed with HIST B276.
