Courses: Introduction to Latin Literature: The Language of Love and Hate in the Roman Republic (LATNH101A01)

Introduction to the study of Latin literature through readings from Catullus� poetry and Cicero�s Pro Caelio. Class will include some grammar review, but emphasis will be on developing reading skills and on critical interpretation and discussion.
Prerequisites: Students should have had either a year of college Latin or very strong high school preparation. For a course with more extensive grammar review, see Bryn Mawr Latin 003.
