Courses: General Chemistry I: Principles and Applications of Chemistry (CHEMH100A01)

Properties of atoms and molecules, stoichiometry, acid-base equilibria, thermochemistry, and kinetics as the foundation for future work in chemistry. This section (section 1) will emphasize applications of chemistry to understanding and influencing our earth's environment. All students wishing to take any section of Chemistry 100a should have already filled out the placement questionnaire and must attend a section consistent with their placement; if not, please see Prof. Scarrow or another Chem 100a instructor immediately. Students must be free to attend one afternoon of lab AND one recitation time.
