Courses: Advanced Topics in Finance (ECONH345B01)
Spring 2009
The course will examine the economics of internattional financial markets by considering three main topics: the economics of foreign currency option, swap and futures contracts; models of exchange rate determination; and the problem of internattional debt. Where possible and appropriate, students will study recent research papers concerning these topics.
Prerequisites: Econ 101 and/or 101 or 102, Econ 101 and 102, Econ 300, Econ 203.
