Courses: General Chemistry II: Atoms and molecules in Isolation and Interaction (CHEMH101B01)

Spring 2009

Three lectures, one required recitation, and one laboratory period. Survey of principles and applications of thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, atomic and molecular structure and bonding, and chemical equilibria to provide a basis for an appreciation of chemical reactivity, including foundations of nuclear chemistry. Students must be free to attend one afternoon of lab AND one recitation time.

Prerequisites: Grade of 2.0 in Chem 100a or placement by Dept
