Courses: The Religious Writings of James Baldwin (RELGH242B01)

Enrollment limited to 25 students.
This course will engage in a religious analysis of the writings of James Baldwin. Throughout the course, students will engage Baldwin's non-fiction, fiction, and dramatic works. We will discuss Baldwin's views on the Black Church, critiques of institutional religion, and suggestions for redefining religious discourse.
