New Course: Introduces students to a variety of questions in the
philosophy of law. The specific topics may change form year to year,
depending on student interest and current events. Sample topics
include: defining law; law and morality; purpose of law; law as
surprise; rule violations and civil disobedience; law and pluralism;
and feminist jurisprudence. Enrollment limited to 35 students. Cross
