This course will examine chemical processes that occur in natural waters, soils and the atmosphere. Specific topics will be chosen with input from enrolled students, who will be expected to share in discussion leadership.

Prerequisites: Prerequisite: Chemistry 221b (Organic Chemistry II), Chemistry 304a (Physical Chemistry I), and concurrent or prior enrollment in Chemistry 320g (Concepts of Inorganic Chemistry)
