Students must be free to attend one afternoon of lab
AND the recitation time.
Three lectures, one recitation, and one laboratory period. Survey of principles and applications of thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, atomic and molecular structure and bonding, and chemical equilibria to provide a basis for an appreciation of chemical reactivity, including foundations of nuclear chemistry.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: Placement by the Department.
