New Course: An introduction to the application of anthropological
knowledge in the contemporary world. Applied anthropologists work in
government, NGO and corporate settings around the world and advise and
implement development projects, commercial ventures and mediate
cultural relations. Ethical implications of this work will be
discussed and new applications of anthropology explored.
Prerequisite: ANTH B102 or permission of the instructor. Enrollment
limited to 20 students.
