Courses: Laboratory in the Psychology of Pain (PSYCH341F01)

Enrollment limited to 16 students.
A laboratory course offered concurrently with Psychology 240. This laboratory course covers basic scientific approaches to the study of pain and its inhibition in laboratory rodents and human subjects. Pain assessment, analgesia, pain modulation and development of nociceptive circuits will be covered. Students will carry out experiments, analyze data, and gain proficiency in scientific writing style.

Prerequisites: Psychology 200 and prior or concurrent enrollment in Psychology 240
