Enrollment limited to 19 students.
An introduction to deductive reasoning, mathematical proof, and fundamental ideas of higher mathematics. Emphasis will be placed on developing strategies for understanding and constructing proofs. Topics include basic logic, set theory, and relations.

Prerequisites: Prerequisite: Math 121 and Math 215. Concurrent registration in Math 317 or Math 333.
